Airfield Operations Manager
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

A full time, permanent position has become available within the Airfield Operations Team for the role of Airfield Operations Manager. The Airfield Operations Manager will report to the Head of Airfield Operations and will be responsible for the daily running of the aerodrome in accordance with the requirements detailed within the Aerodrome Manual and EASA/CAA regulations; this will include the auditing and oversight of third parties that operate within the airside environment.
The post holder will also be responsible for the delivery and management of a variety of airside activities and teams, including the airfield operations team, which includes wildlife and habitat management, and all aspects of airside safety, compliance monitoring and training. Other duties will include contributing to the business as part of the management team, providing detailed reports and information on all airside safety related matters ensuring we meet the requirements of the EASA certificate. This role will also be required to deputise for the Head of Airfield Operations

Our client operates on a 24/7 basis and flexibility will be required to attend at short notice for operational reasons, for example special events, adverse weather conditions.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Criminal Record check to comply with Department for Transport regulations.
