Due to the expansion of the fleet and driving workforce we are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Multi drop delivery drivers to join our team here at Mercado Leeds.

Perhaps you have recently passed an LGV 2 Licence and looking for your first driving job, with a company that will take the time to train and develop you into a professional career driver

HGV Class 2 Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• An up-to-date CPC and DIGITAL TACHOGRAPH card
• No More than 3 Penalty points on driving licence
• Good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD regulations

Job Role includes

• Loading and unloading a variety of flooring products
• General driving duties: observing current legal and best practise delivering to/from our customers premises
• A disciplined approach that will allow you to work unsupervised
• Driving your vehicle in a courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws as per the highway code
• Making sure all goods are correctly strapped before commencing journeys
• Use of electronic P.O.D and up-to-date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practise)
• Daily vehicle checks as per ministry standards
