This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the effective and efficient delivery of our fostering service based at our Doncaster office.

We’re looking for a self-motivated and proactive person with experience of working with children/young people in a social care/educational setting.

You’ll need to have good organisational skills to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines. You’ll need to think creatively and identify solutions to problems as well as have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

You’ll be expected to maintain professional boundaries when working with children and foster carers, and will need a good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.

What You’ll Need

  • GCSE grade C (or above) English and maths.
  • NVQ L3 Health & Social Care would be advantageous.
  • Full, clean driving license and your own vehicle. You will be expected to drive extensively.
  • Flexible approach to working hours – including weekends and evenings.

Salary: £23,840.09 (Band A), with opportunity to progress to £31,944.67 (Band H)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 37 hours/week

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
