Maintenance Technician
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours of work: Out of season (November to March)
- Monday to Friday
- 7.30am-5pm
- Every other Friday off
- In season – Any 5 out of 7 days
- On average 40 hours per week
- Starting at 7.30am with varying finish times
Salary: £29,000 up to £31,000 per annum
Training available: Working at height, Forklift Truck, Sling / Rigging, plus various health & safety courses

About the Role
Are you a maintenance technician who enjoys working outdoors?
Working under the direction of our Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Opening and closing ride checks
- Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance
We recognise that you may not have previous experience working on rides, however, if you have the skills and experience listed below, we will still consider your application.
About You
This role will be suitable for someone who has
- a mechanical or engineering background
- a can-do attitude
- a willingness to develop existing skills, whilst also learning new skills.
You may have experience in a manufacturing position or in the aerospace / motor vehicle industry.
Completed a recognized apprenticeship or hold a qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, for example City and Guilds/NVQ/BTEC/ONC/HNC
- A track record in hands on fault finding
- Experience in reactive and planned works in mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Confident in working at height up to 140ft / 40m
- Willingness to work outdoors
- Full UK manual driving licence
- An ability to work in a close-knit team
