

Plumbing and Heating Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential properties. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that all heating installations meet safety and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate would need an Oil and or Gas qualification.
Duties
- Install and maintain heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
- Conduct regular inspections and servicing of heating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults in heating systems and carry out necessary repairs.
- Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and adherence to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb, weld, and operate various hand tools and power tools.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Qualification in Oil & Gas is an advantage
- Knowledge in renewable heating systems is an advantage
