About the client:
Andy (28) is an active young man who suffered a traumatic brain injury 10 years ago from a road traffic accident. He lives alone in a bungalow close to family and has a support team that visits daily to support Andy with his cognitive needs. Andy can at times be forgetful or needs support to plan and initiate activities he enjoys doing, so the role would be supporting Andy with this. Andy enjoys eating out and attending activities such as the cinema or groups, and as a support worker, you would assist Andy to attend these and often join him.
Role Overview:
Although Andy does not require any physical assistance, he requires assistance with his cognitive needs, so the role involves assisting Andy in planning his week and guiding and prompting him with daily activities so Andy can be as independent as possible.
Shifts are Thursdays 8.30-22.00 and Saturdays 15.00-22.00, but overtime is available to cover staff leave.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic)
- Experience supporting clients with complex healthcare needs
- Experience working in a home setting
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Her dedication and passion to provide tailored and personalised assessment and case management services for people after life changing injuries, led to the establishment of NeuroHealth.
The team at NeuroHealth consists of 19 specialist Case Managers who will need to, at times, deal with the difficult and unexpected.
