£19.80 per hour | PAYE via Umbrella | Weekdays Only | Ongoing Assignment
DrivenPeople are currently hiring Minibus Drivers to support a dedicated school transport service during the academic year. This position offers stable, ongoing work with weekday split shifts and a minimum of 6 hours per day.
Position Highlights:
- Pay Rate: £19.80 per hour (weekly pay via PAYE umbrella)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (split shifts, minimum 6 hours daily)
- Type of Role: Long-term, term-time only
What You’ll Need:
- A valid D1 driving licence (without the 101 restriction)
- Current Driver CPC qualification
- Enhanced DBS check (essential)
- Applications welcome from drivers under 25 or with less than 2 years’ experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Transporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) safely and professionally
- Carrying out vehicle checks before each journey and reporting any defects
- Ensuring the vehicle remains clean and safe at all times
- Interacting respectfully with students, parents, and school staff
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures
