Warehouse Operative / Order Picker
Starting pay: £13.30 / hr
Working hours: 06:00 – 18:00
Hours per week: 42.5 hrs
Days: Mon – Fri
Paid breaks: 2 × 15 min
Are you looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role. DMW Logistics are recruiting for a reliable warehouse operative to join our busy team in Sutton in Ashfield. If you’re comfortable working at pace and hold a Reach forklift licence, we’d love to hear from you. The role is 42.5 hours per week between the hours of 06:00-18:00.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Picking customer orders accurately using a handheld scanner and stacking onto pallets/boxes
- Ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for despatch on time
- Operating Reach and/or counterbalance forklift trucks as required
- Working efficiently to meet pick rate targets in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Valid Reach forklift licence [Required]
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment [Required]
- Confidence using a handheld scanner system [Required]
- Counterbalance forklift licence [Desirable]
- Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy [Required]
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player [Required]
