Job Description

Based: Cardiff main office, when meeting clients other travel is expected.

Salary Scale: MS3 £26,056.63-£26,577.76-£27109.32

Hours per week: 36:25 hours 5 days per week

Fixed term basis to 30th April 2028 maybe extended subject to funding.

Offer is subject to Eligibility to Work in the UK check, satisfactory references and enhanced DBS.

Our innovative Young Adult Hub is the first of its kind in Wales to support young adults in the Criminal Justice System and are seeking an energetic worker to increase support for Ethnically Diverse young people. Our Young Adult Hub is located within the city centre and provides a trauma informed safe space for young adults to access.

Job outline:

  • You will identify ethnically diverse young adults and work on their strengths through the delivery of our activities and support in a trauma informed way.
  • You will help the delivery for young adults and support the provision of a wide range of activities which include well-being, cooking and access to wider support activities.
  • To work with our wider team and partners to develop their skills and support networks.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience supporting young people.
  • Knowledge of the need of young adults in the criminal justice system.
  • Confidence working in multi-agency operational partnerships.
