3 Solutions is a growing and dynamic repairs and maintenance company working across Wiltshire, Somerset, Bath & Bristol. We have an exciting opportunity for an electrical qualified supervisor to join our existing team.
We are an NICEIC Approved Contractor and undertake a wide range of electrical works including electrical condition reports and remedial works, new installations, fuse board upgrades, fault finding, Solar PV Installation, electrical heating installations and general electrical repairs predominately in domestic properties.
This role includes leading, managing and supporting the electricians and electrical apprentices on a day to day basis ensuring we are delivering a high standard of work at all times and work has been completed in a timely manner. This includes undertaking inspections when required, offering support and guidance to the electrical team and schedulers across the electrical sector which includes, general repairs, reactive maintenance, testing, installation and planned programs.
It also includes ensuring the safe execution of works at all times including risk assessments and method statements, tool box talks, dealing with and reporting accidents and ensuring compliance with the companies health and safety requirements at all times.
You will be responsible for costing completed works on a cost plus basis, quoted repairs and using schedule of rates dependant on the client ensuring works are ready for invoicing.
You will be required to complete relevant certification of works as well as checking the certification being completed by the electricians.
You will need a good understanding of general building maintenance as this may be interpreted within some of the electrical works orders.
You will be required to survey and quote for electrical works under the clients request. This may include site visits or be priced from information supplied to you by a member of the team.
You will need to be:
- Fully qualified 18th Edition electrician
- Sound knowledge of wiring regulations
- 2391 test & inspect qualified or an equivalent
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required for this position and a UK driving license. You will be based at our offices in Shepton Mallet but the candidate will be working in and around Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath & Bristol.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm and to cover out of hours call outs on a pro-rata basis.
Education required : Vocational (NVQ/SNVQ/City & Guilds)
