Heating / Plumbing Engineer
HEATING ENGINEER – WANTED TO JOIN OUR TEAM!
We are looking for a qualified heating and plumbing engineer to join our busy team at Limitless Energy.
You’ll be part of a team installing, servicing and commissioning air source and ground source heat pump systems. We work with mostly domestic and some commercial customers in and around Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend and Cardiff.
Limitless Energy is a renewable heating and electrical solutions company, installing heat pumps, solar thermal, solar diverters, solar panels, battery storage and electric vehicle charge points.
We are a family-owned business, established in 2014, and we run the business from our eco-home in Mumbles, and our EV fleet from our storage premises in Penclawdd.
We provide a high level of service and engineering expertise, and customer service is at the forefront of our business. We are 5 star rated on google and are certified by MCS, RECC, NAPIT and Trustmark.
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual with excellent communication skills who is passionate about high quality heat pump installations and customer service to join our team. Ideally, you’ll have an interest in renewable energy and the environment.
Depending upon your skills, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient installation of heat pumps, unvented cylinders, radiators, underfloor heating and solar thermal systems.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a heating background who wants to work with renewable technologies and grow within a supportive local company.
Salary:
- Up to £20.25 ph based upon experience and qualifications.
- Equivalent of up to £39,487.50 for a 37.5hr week. Paid hourly so enables greater annual salary.
- 28 days paid holiday + long term service additional leave programme + additional holiday over Xmas and New Year + annual wellbeing fund + pension
Qualifications
- Proven experience installing plumbing and heating systems
- Relevant trade qualifications and certifications in plumbing and heating
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and heating systems effectively and safely
- Full, clean driving license
Desirable:
- Knowledge of renewable heating solutions, such as Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards for renewable energy systems
- Experience of maintenance and repair
