It is a highly experienced mechanical and electrical engineering company specializing in the supply, installation, servicing, and maintenance of Overhead Cranes, hoists and general lifting equipment across the UK. Our head off is based near Dover and soon to be opening another branch in Derby.
Our focus is on providing excellent personal service that exceeds our customers’ expectations, with an emphasis on product quality and right first-time approach. We work in partnership with our customers and offer a range of services, including inspections of Overhead cranes and lifting equipment to comply with LOLER Regulations.
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an overhead crane engineer at MH Mechanical Handling Ltd. The Overhead Crane Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repair of Overhead Cranes, Hoists and lifting equipment. This includes conducting inspections to LOLER Regulations. The role requires strong technical Mechanical and electrical engineering skills. Areas to be covered are Kent and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Lifting Equipment and Overhead Crane Knowledge and experience
- Electrical and Mechanical qualification
- Good written and verbal communication
- UK Driving Licence
- Hard Working and Honest.
- Must live in the UK

Services include statutory inspection of cranes and all types of lifting equipment to comply with the LOLER Regulations. Upon completion of an inspection we will supply certificates. If required, a colour coding scheme can be implemented.
