PCV D1 Minibus Driver
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned community transport company that provides school transport and care for children with special needs. This company is expanding its team in Manchester and is looking for compassionate, reliable, and qualified PCV D1 licensed drivers to join their team.

Responsibilities
- Assist children with special needs to board and leave vehicles safely and with dignity
- Show empathy and understanding for passengers’ individual needs, including medical conditions
- Communicate effectively with clients, passenger assistants, and the management team
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks using an electronic recording system
- Work professionally and adhere to safety guidelines at all times
- Participate in regular training to uphold high service standards
Requirements
- Valid PCV D1 license and CPC card
- Enhanced DBS
- At least 3 years of UK driving experience (preferred)
- Reliable commuting distance to the Manchester area, specifically Failsworth
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
- Teamwork skills, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Compassionate and respectful attitude towards passengers
- Willingness to undergo initial induction and ongoing training
Expected Hours: 30 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts, with potential overtime
