About TrydaNi
TrydaNi is a non-profit community-owned electric car-sharing service operating with a small distributed team across Wales.
Our mission is to provide the convenience of car usage without the burden of ownership, providing a sustainable and accessible transportation solution for all using cooperatively owned and developed technology. We are a Community Benefit Society funded by the Lottery and Welsh Government.
We’ve spent the past two years trialling our car booking technology and bringing together a number of existing car clubs across Wales. We’re now ready to begin expanding the network and increasing usage of existing vehicles.
Role Overview
You will be one of four of TrydaNi’s network of Regional Coordinators. You are the first point of contact for members using our vehicles, answering questions and providing familiarisation sessions for new users.
Most member support is via phone, email and WhatsApp and a lot of your work will take place outside of standard office hours according to a weekly rota.
Another key responsibility is working with members (who are able to earn credits to help run their local club) to ensure that vehicles are kept clean and that regular safety checks are completed. You will be responsible for taking the vehicle to a local garage when repairs or servicing is required.
You will also help promote the car clubs locally, ensuring that members of the local community are made aware of their local car club, how it works and how much it costs.
We aim to provide support to members 8am-10pm seven days a week, and so to achieve this you will need to be part of a rota shared with five other individuals.
This role is based in North Wales and requires a fluent Welsh speaker.
You will require your own laptop and phone.
You must have a valid UK driving licence and clean driving history.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a weekly on-call rota to ensure that members across Wales have someone available to respond to their message or phone call between 8am-10pm

- Understand how to provide access to spare keys for members experiencing technical difficulties when accessing vehicles with the TrydaNi app
- Understand when and how to escalate an issue to your manager or other senior colleague
- Ensure that vehicles are cleaned and that monthly safety checks are completed
- Complete new member vehicle and charging inductions for those members that request one
- Help to recruit and manage “Member Coordinators” from within local car club membership so that they can assist with cleaning, safety checks and new member inductions as clubs grow
- When not supporting members, assist with marketing and promotional activities (e.g. social media posting or leaflet distribution) as directed by TrydaNi’s Chief Community Officer
Required experience/skills/attributes
