Site Manager

Your New Role
- As a Site Manager you will be a part of our electricity transmission construction team who deliver Scottish Power projects 33kV to 400kV. This involves refurbishing existing and building new substations AIS and GIS
- Daily Management of site operatives, sub-contractors and site work.
- Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments method statements.
- Occasionally chairing co-ordination meetings.
- Planning and programming of current and future works.
- Occasional panel modification to assist commissioning engineers
About You
Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Competency to work in substations 33kV to 400kV
- Previously / or current Scottish Power Authorisation
- Solid and up to date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment.
- Previous experience working in the High Voltage industry

- Good time management and an ability to plan ahead
- Aware of the operational needs of the client, whilst taking account the commercial implications.
