Weekend Support Worker

We are recruiting weekend support workers in Exeter & Exmouth.

Do you live in or near Exmouth or Exeter? Do you have an interest in spending time outdoors? Do you enjoy swimming, walking, the gym and cooking? Do you like going to the pub and listening to live music, trips to the seaside, cinema or the theatre? Due to further company expansion, we have various part time hours and bank positions available with people we support in the Exmouth area. You will be gentle but purposeful, strong and robust with excellent communication skills.

Although this is 1:1 working, you will be part of a positive and dynamic team. We provide bespoke support packages for individuals with autism and learning difficulties to live independently within their chosen communities.

We pay £13.38 per hour for weekend support and cover, £12.71 per hour for sleep-ins.

Our annual leave is 5.6 weeks per year pro rata; however, extra leave is earned with all overtime. You will earn holiday for every hour worked.

We work to a fixed 4-week fixed rolling rota so you will always have the predictability of knowing when you are working and can easily plan holidays and time off.

We pay 45p per mile for work-related own vehicle use.

We have a comprehensive online training program, with over 200 care and support related certificates available – plus we offer face to face in-house training.

We are a not-for-profit organisation with a hands-on management team, and we never use agencies for cover purposes.
